navigate womanhood with wisdom and power
a word from our founder…
Welcome to the Women’s Wellness School imagined from from my trials as a woman, mother, and now grandmother navigating the unexpected joys and challenges of womanhood. I’ve been where you are—overwhelmed, joy-depleted, feeling almost held captive by the roles and responsibilities in your life - mind, body, and spirit. I decided other women should not have to go through this without support and body wisdom.
That’s why I created the Women’s Wellness School. After reaching midlife, I gathered all the essential, evidence-based information and collaborated with top experts across various fields to bring you a comprehensive series of female-centered programs. Our classes and workshops cover everything from period care, managing your gynecological health appointments, labor/delivery knowledge, parenting skills, and general well-being—ensuring you’re equipped to intelligently survive, thrive, and enjoy the journey of womanhood.
This is about more than period cramps, breastfeeding, or hot flashes; it’s about maintaining your sanity, preserving your relationships, rediscovering ancestral wisdom, and connecting to your body with peaceful joy. Our mission is to provide you with the information and tools to prevent the ignorance, overwhelm, and isolation that too many women (and girls) face.
Thank you for letting me join your journey of womanhood. Together, we’ll transform this challenging and phenomenal paradigm into a lifetime of awareness, growth, and serenity.
navigate womanhood with wisdom and power.

a bit of my story…
d. jylani ma’at brown
founder & cio (chief impact officer)
Motherhood changed everything for me. After welcoming my first daughter in 1999 and my second in 2002, I became deeply immersed in the world of mother-baby care. While my first birth was smooth, my postpartum experience was anything but—I woke up alone on a stretcher in a public hallway, bleeding, confused, and searching for my baby. My second birth, though earlier than expected, taught me the power of community. A network of mothers and aunties became my anchor, guiding me through the challenges and joys of birth, postpartum, and beyond.
Through these experiences, I learned that the journey of womanhood—through motherhood and now grandmotherhood—is both personal and collective. It is shaped by those who walk beside us and those who came before us.
At twws, we celebrate the beauty, complexity, and power of these transitions. Because when we stand together, we all rise.
No woman journeys alone. She stands on the shoulders of those before her and leaves a legacy for those to come.
